I often get the item I'm searching for by invoking/dispelling the anomaly without having to play it at all. 'Darkwood is an enigmatic town shrouded in mystery, a bizarre burg riddled with secrets just waiting to be uncovered. The same technique works when you're playing the secondary quest. Seekers Notes: Hidden Mystery is a hidden object game from MyTona (Author/Developer), the creators of the popular The Secret Society - Hidden Mystery game, available free to download. Now, I always keep a big supply of them and the dispellers ready for when I want to guarantee getting CIs when I play. I know I didn't for the first year I was playing it. Most people don't use the anomalies nearly as much as they could. You'll have to play the anagram mode in between, but I find it gets me a lot of loot. Of course, you can't predict which item you get, but playing this technique during one of your free hours will get you quite a bit. It takes less time than actually playing the location and nets you more items.

I guarantee you will get an additional CI (sometimes 2) if you have Seeker's star running at the same time. For instance, if I have any mode except for Anagram, I launch an Anomaly then immediately Dispel it.

There are other collections that won't yield as many golden thread but friends might be more willing to part with: Navigator's Kit, Sinister Artifacts, and Mysterious Stalker.Īnother thing I do to really up my CI chances are to play Seeker's star but in conjunction with Anomalies.
